Week 39

Still pregnant.

I can't believe how sore I have been, it's been making me very anxious. I have an appetite and don't at the same time. I get hungry, but can't think of anything to eat, absolutely nothing sounds appetizing and what ends up happening is I make something just to eat, taste it, hate it, throw it out and end up not eating anything anyway.

I also can't get anymore work done in my sewing room. Something about my chair causes my feet to swell. I worked for 3 hours the other day and my feet started to feel funny and hot in my slippers. I took off my slippers and looked down at what used to be my feet. There were no gaps between toes, the arches of my feet were now flat and my toenails looked miniscule in comparison to before. Keeping my feet elevated helps and makes the swelling go away, they're quite normal right now, I just wish I could sew a bit more before the baby comes.

Now that my ranting is done..

I am super grateful for Matt. He has been so wonderful this whole time, helping around the house and preparing for the baby. Also, running to the store to pick up dill pickle chips and ice cream. My anxiety has not been very easy for either of us to deal with lately, especially over the last couple of weeks as we reach the end of the pregnancy. We watched our first Christmas movie of the season, Elf, and the end was just so heartwarming when they *spoiler* save the day with Christmas cheer */spoiler* that I started SOBBING and I couldn't stop. It went on for awhile, stopped and then started again as I folded laundry. I think I've cried a little bit every day over the last week...

We also got our maternity pictures!
