7 months

Harrison got his first fever last night. At first I thought he was just hot, but it didn't go down, he just got hotter. I checked his temp this morning when he woke up and it was at 100.8. My poor munchkin. He's acting fine, though he didn't want his applesauce. He's nursing well and I think the Tylenol helped his fever. I just hope he gets better by tonight, or I am bringing him to the doctor.

We went to the beach yesterday (which might be where he picked up a bug) and he wasn't a big fan. The second his feet touched the water, his knees retracted and he got whiny. He eventually got close to the water, but he seemed a little scared for the most part.

Still going backwards, Sunday was Harrison's 7 month birthday. He had a big week too. He's getting breakfast now and we're sleep training. For almost 7 months we rocked him to sleep. Now, he gets rocked for just a minute to soothe him, then puts himself to sleep in his crib. It's going pretty well and he's getting better every day. I was a little sad and I often miss rocking him. But he needs to learn how to sleep on his own.

My little, pruney munchkin.
