Snow snow snow

I finished Alias and now I am watching Battlestar Galactica.

I have so many things to post about! Lots of things going on.

Like, first of all, this weather! Why??? I'm crossing my fingers for a happy, warm, sunny weekend. But the nice weather keeps getting pushed back and pushed back. Harrison hasn't really been outside yet and I want to take him for walks. I also cancelled my dentist appt today thinking the weather was going to be a doozy, but it turned out to be not that bad.

Harrison had his 4 month appointment last Friday. He did really well at it. He's a whopping 14lbs 15oz, almost double his birth weight! He is in all 6mo clothing too, even though he's a perfectly average weight and height.

He was okay with the first set of shots, but let the howling loose with the second (he got 4 shots total). Harrison was a bit grouchy the rest of the day.

Saturday was harder to get through. Harrison got his first fever because of the shots and was uncomfortable and sad the whole day. He ended up sleeping for most of it and perked up after having some baby Tylenol.

The doctor also suggested that we start him on solid food soon. I'm very excited! I know it's messy, but Harrison will get to try new foods and cinder will love hanging out beneath the high chair.

I have completed a number of chores today, including fabric washing, laundry and vacuuming. Go Me!

I'm feeling fairly perky for getting horrible sleep last night. I woke up 8 times! Harrison was whiny in his sleep, and at 2:30 I got up just to pop the pacifier back in his mouth. He slept for another hour before wanting to eat. Then, the cat! Mewling away bright and early for food. Grumble grumble. Not to mention the nightmares. Three nights in a row now.

The Walking Dead stresses me out like no other show. I also cannot stand watching shows where bad things happen to babies (like The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones). I make Matt spoil things for me just to make sure I don't see bad things happening- he's read all the books.

Harrison's not allowed to watch these shows (obviously), but he does like tv and even watched almost an entire episode of Doctor Who before snuggling up and falling asleep. So cute!

Yesterday we visited great grandmas and Harrison was so tuckered out, he slept for two hours after we got home!

Oop! He's waking up now! Byeeee
