Sam is Two Months Old!

My little Sammy loves having his butt wiped. I swear I get the best happy faces and smiles while changing a poopy diaper. He loves it and it's adorable.

He also loves clapping. I feel we are very close to giggles on this one. He usually gets so excited he spits up a little. :)

So, I thought my hair was less oily because I stopped washing it every single day (washing hair every day isn't really good for it). Well, now it's oily again, turns out my scalp changes coincided with my pregnancy and now that he's out, my hair is back to it's oily self. Thank goodness for dry shampoo.

We've been hit for a third time with a nasty cold in this house. This time, I have fallen victim to it. I feel like we've spent more time sick than healthy this year. This time doesn't seem as bad, thankfully. And hopefully it'll turn around over the weekend.

I've also finally started creating YouTube videos. I love it! Editing is fun and I can do it while nursing. I also love getting video of my boys being silly. Megan and I also have some funny ideas for videos too. Hopefully I can continue this new hobby :)

Mother's Day and Baby Boys

I love being a mommy and had a fantastic Mother's Day because I am lucky enough to have two wonderful boys.

We were able to see both sides of the family on Sunday, which was really nice. Both of my boys were well behaved and seemed to have a good time. (Sam was calm, I'm assuming he had a good time..). From my boys (and husband ;) ) I received a book copy of this blog up until Sam's birth. It's beautiful. I also kind of knew I was getting it because I mentioned to Matt awhile ago that I wanted one and was going to look into getting a book ordered. Matt glared at me and said, "Don't" since he already had the idea. Oops. xD

At the Googs side, Harrison got to play Nerf guns with his "cousins" and didn't want to leave their basement because he was having such a great time. Lots of people played pass the baby with the two new babies there. I ate a lot of food and successfully avoided dairy and it was still delicious. When it was time to go, I had to convince Harrison to leave by telling him he'd see Cam and Andy next.

We ate more food at the next party and Harrison rough housed with his other "cousins". Sam got extra hungry and ate a lot as well. By the end of the day, I was beat. But bed would have to wait for a hungry baby.

Mr. Sam is a beefcake. He's not yet 2 months and he's fitting in 6mo outfits. He's also long and needs the extra room in order to stretch his legs. He's not a big fan of being put down during the day right now. He would much rather be snuggled. Sam has been sleeping well, though, so it's a trade off.

I'm trying to get lots of snuggles in with this little boy. I'm unsure whether we'll have anymore children (Matt says no, but I'm not ready to put the final decision to rest), so this could be my last baby time. I do love babies, but just thinking about being pregnant again makes me cringe.

I've made a couple videos for YouTube and I love doing it. Unfortunately my computer is too slow to handle such activities, but Matt has offered his laptop for such things. But I really like editing and I like filming cute things my children do. Yep, I'm one of those moms.

I also just splurged on a new Black Milk Clothing piece. Because it's cute and I feel awkward in my current body and I'm hoping it helps me feel cute again. #postbabybodproblems

Hoping to get a pinch of alone time this weekend. We'll see how that goes.

Baby Spam

I love my boys! Babies are so wonderful and I have the cutest! *biased* ;)

Baby spam!

Nakey baby!

Harrison's hair: before and after (he had been requesting blue for days! Someday, he'll probably come home with his head permanently dyed xD)

He loves his Ivy!

Selfie w/Mommy!

Morning snuggles

Weird baby faces:

More snuggles! He loves the wrap, falls asleep every time.

My Harrison

Sam is a beefcake (well, he eats all the time so I'm not too surprised). Outgrew his infant carseat insert and is very grateful for that, much more tolerant of the car seat now.

Both boys are pretty much all better. They're both down to the nebulizer once a day. Sam is also moved into his own room (a little later than planned but his sickness earned him an extra long stay in our room). I'm so happy for a healthy house (and that I never got sick!) and happy Sam has been sleeping 6 hour stretches the last few days *knock on wood*

Lots of plans coming up in the next couple months! Outings with friends/family, weddings, and our convention!

Eek! I guess those costumes won't sew themselves. We'll see how much I finish in time this year. Two kids are a much larger time suck than one (especially when one won't leave your boob..)

But all is well :)
