Blaaaaaaaaaaaah.
That is how I am feeling right now. :p
We had a very good weekend at the cabin for Memorial Day. Lots of relaxing, great food (which makes me and the fetus very happy), and I actually made it out of bed. Cinder and Ivy had a blast together, Cinder moped around the house once we returned home. Also, car rides, not so fun right now.
One thing I can do while being lazy: look up baby things on the internet!
Did anyone else have problems with burping? I feel like I have to burp all the time, but it has become very difficult to do...

Week 11
I had my very first OB appointment on Friday! Still feeling very sickly, tired, and weak. The doctor, of course, noticed that I had lost about 5 pounds. My weight has balanced out now, though, and I don't seem to be losing any more.
Anyway, the appt took about 2 hours longer than was originally planned. My check-up went fine, I'm in good health, the problem came when we went to listen to the baby's heartbeat. According to the doctor, my uterus is tipped back (TMI, I know) which makes it difficult to hear the heartbeat this early in the pregnancy. He warned us that we probably wouldn't be able to hear anything. And we didn't.
Just to make sure everything was going well, he scheduled an ultrasound for us over at the hospital next door. Lots of waiting ensued, and lots of water to ensure a full bladder, and we were called in.
It was so cool! We could see the heartbeat on the monitor, and the baby looks like a little potato with wiggly legs. It was strange seeing it move around and still hard to believe that it's actually in there!
Anyway, all is progressing well and I am hoping to feel better any day now!
